Author Landria Onkka’s “A Bell for Christmas” (Outskirts Press) tells the story of an elderly woman who roams the streets with her dog in a small southern town. Animal Control threatens to take the dog, and then two attorneys step in to help, but the Judge they turn to for answers is reluctant to reveal details about Bell and his own past. What starts as a rescue turns into a mystery.
The Christmas romance story is dedicated to the people who rescue, care for, support and restore the well-being of animals worldwide. A portion of funds from books sold are dedicated to animal welfare organizations.
